The aspirin is not just good for treating a cold, it can be use for getting rid of zits and pimples as well, and it has been a very effective acne home remedy for years. The salicylic acid in the aspirin helps drying out the pimple and reduces redness and swelling of it.

This facial mask is extremely good for people who need to exfoliate their skin, or want to moisturize it and get rid of zits and pimples at the same time.

To make the facial mask take 3 tablets of aspirin, non coated ones, (you can find them at local stores such as Wallmart or Target) crush them up and dissolve in some warm water. Then take a teaspoon of honey and add to the aspirin and water mixture, and mix all of them very good until you get a thick, homogenous paste.

Spread the paste using your fingers all over your face, rubbing it gently and massaging the skin, especially the area around the pimples and on the pimples as well.

You can leave the mask on your face overnight, but if this is your first time you try it, I recommend not leaving it for more than 30 – 45 minutes. You should also test the mask on a small patch of skin (behind your ear, or somewhere where it isn’t visible) to see if you have any allergic reaction to it.

After the thirty minutes have passed wash your face with warm water, and the mask will dissolve quickly leaving your skin really smooth.

If you have really big, red and swollen pimples on your face, you can use an aspirin to reduce that redness and swelling fast. Just take an aspirin, crush it really good, ad a bit of warm water and then rub it on your pimple.

You can use this aspirin and honey facial mask every other day to clear pimples and zits from your face and to keep your skin smooth and nice. You can use this together with other products such as cleansers or toners for acne prone skin
