Best Beauty Products of 2011 Presented at the Cosmetic Executive Women’s Awards

The Cosmetic Executive Women’s award is kind of like getting an Oscar in the beauty skin industry. The Cosmetic Executive Women committee consists of 4,000 women who vote on the best cosmetic drug-store products of the year. The committee has 26 categories of beauty products and they have to break down to 5 categories.

So, the five categories are: Bath & Body treatment, Skincare, eye treatment, hair-care, and make-up.

The best bath & body treatment nominees are Avon body wash; Burt’s Bees body lotion, Olay Thermal pedicure, and Secret anti-perspirant. Olay Thermal pedicure wins the Oscar. Olay thermal pedicure is chosen the best because when you apply it to your feet then put them in the bath it’s instant relaxation.

The next award goes to the best Skin Care. The five picks are: Aveeno cleanser, Avon cleanser, Garnier towelettes, Dove skin vitalizer, and Olay facial cleanser. Drum roll please, the winner for best skin care is Dove skin vitalizer. This one was chosen because of its soft electric scrubber that makes your skin feel clean.

The next category is eye treatment; the nominees for this category are: Aveeno eye serum, Avon Laroche eye treatment, Nutragena eye reviver, and Olay regenerist. The winner is Olay because it decongests puffiness and fills lines and wrinkles.

The best picked products for hair care are: Burt’s Bees shampoo, Clairol Gloss, John Frieda serum, Garnier hair spray, and Lo’real shampoo. The product that wins: Garnier hair spray. This hair spray gets the entire frizz out for the whole day.

I saved the best for last category: make-up. The best make –up categories are: Cover-Girl foundation, Lo’real Mineral finish, Mark shimmer cubes, Almay blush and bronzer, and Neutrogena skin glow sheers. And Almay is the winner. You will love this product because it’s like magic. When you apply the foundation the smart beads turn the color of your skin tone. All these products are the best and affordable – can’t beat that.
