  1. Do you recommend using a toner? I noticed you didn’t mention anything about toners, and I was wondering whether it is good or bad to use them.

Please let me know, because I just bought one, and I don’t want to risk breaking out from it.

    Thank you

    1. Hey Ashley!

Yes, a toner is very safe to use. It helps clearing your pores by going deep into them and cleaning any debris and dirt that might be in there. I don’t use it every day, but if you already bought one, you can definitely use it. It won’t hurt at all.

  2. I had been using toner for many months, and I never had any side effects from him. So it is pretty safe to use it, just make sure you use a qood one.

I use Clinique Clarifying Lotion which I bought for $14.05 from the local beauty store. It works really well, I can see the dirt that comes out from my skin and onto the cotton pad after using it

  3. Personally, Dove works like a charm for me. I’ve been using it for years I find it really effective in keeping my skin clear and silky smooth. So I was glad you recommended Dove here 🙂

  4. you don’t have to go to a dermatologist to figure out what’s best for your skin (unless you have serious or extreme skin conditions). Treating acne is all about taking the time and effort to take care of your skin. You would do just fine with a regular skin regimen that works for your skin type..

  5. I have skin prone to acne so this article is really helpful.. props to you, Romy!! All the skin advice you give have been helpful to me so far 🙂

  6. I always thought that cheap products are less effective but now I know that if a product works for your skin, you should use it.. Saves me from burning a hole in my pocket lol
